Sorry I haven't wrote in a long time!!! A lot has happened since I've wrote last. The office is usually the same routine everyday. Some days a little different than others but mostly the same things occur. Since I am part time driver I have to head to House Calls Pharmacy a few times a week. Last week was very chaotic, I had to make a trip to Albany and make three, not one but THREE trips to the hospital in one day. Don't worry nothing horribly bad happened and everyone is alright but was a very long day!
When I am not working in the office and activities are going on I try my best to get involved with the girls and join them. I had a split shift and was finally able to help with softball. I was really excited to teach the girls something that is a passion of mine. Although I only got to help two groups for tryouts I loved every minute of it. I was going to help with the softball tournament but unfortunately it was my day off.
I played tennis for the first time last week, let's just say I should probably stick to softball. I think if there was a home run derby in Tennis I would win. Tennis balls were launched in every direction and different courts and in the parking lot. It was probably very entertaining for the tennis staff. But I had a blast playing and I have had two practice sessions since then. I will join in with the campers while they are learning and do the different drills. They tennis staff is very helpful and have so much knowledge of the game. But that's obvious because they have been playing for years and are professional in Mexico. I really do enjoy playing and hopefully by the end of the summer I will be able to play at least at a decent level.
Along with tennis I have done archery, although when I was little I did archery but I hardly remember it so it was learning it all over again. I've only done it once and haven't made it back down. My Saturday I have a break from 2 till 6:30 so during that time I really try to get involved and the kids just love it. Most don't know who I am because they don't see much of me unless I am in the office when it is time for there phone call home. So they are curious of who I am, what I do, why I am in the office and if I like it. All so curious!!! It also gives me a chance to hangout with the campers and get to know some of them.
Today is Visiting Day for the Girls! I will make sure to write back a little bit later and let you guys know how it goes!
Such a short blog for so much going on!!! I promise I will write more soon! Hope everyone is enjoying there summer as much as I am. (I can't believe I come back less than a month) Love and miss everyone!
Always <3
Andrea.
